The Cleaford Christian Trust has been helping the 350 bed Brasov Children’s Hospital in Transylvania for over 12 years. We send regular shipments of basic medicines for which the Hospital does not have an adequate budget. When possible we also help with equipment items. The two largest equipment projects have been the supply and installation of two large NHS quality washing machines (which prevented closure of the hospital due to poor laundry standards), and the supply of 12 incubators which were donated to us by the manufacturer. We have good relationships with medicine and consumables suppliers and are able to obtain favourable prices and/or free donations. We also benefit from membership of the InKinddirect scheme.
